Kudos to the effort of two dedicated friends and a large, borrowed safety pin, my saree stayed on for hours, into the celebratory evening.

2 lunches in Pai: Basil Chili Soy Meat & Veg with a fresh Pineapple Basil juice from Kin J (Jay vegan restaurant); Young Coconut Curry (vegetarian) from Curry Shack. The coconut curry was life-changing. Nothing else in Pai could matter besides that curry. I truly considered pouring it into my mouth. 

Everything had basil. I love it, so.

First henna tattoo. Both arms are done, but the other one smudged a bit. 

First cocktail-in-a-damn-young coconut. Thai whiskey, Malibu & coconut cream. Dedicated to Maevis.
